Introduction
The journey began with the development of an internal tool leveraging verifiable credentials, rooted in Affinidi's core technology. What initiated as an internal solution swiftly transformed into a suite of products with potential to elevate organisations outside of ours.
Through collaboration across People, Product, and Engineering teams, we tapped into existing HR tools to experiment with:
• enabling ease of peer-to-peer recognition
• pivoting the narrative of a company-down to employee-centric-up by visualising a flat hierarchal organisation chart
• redefining relationships – encouraging friendships beyond job roles and connecting peers across teams
Design Problem
How might we leverage employee and organisational data to redefine company culture, create a supportive and employee-centric environment that fosters connection, and enable individuals to manage career-related information?
Outcome
Our product launched successfully across Singapore, India, and Europe, catalysing a profound shift towards a more supportive company culture that resonated with employees. Notably, the implementation resulted in:
• 43% increase in peer-to-peer recognition throughout the organisation
• an engaging and user-friendly space with employees describing it as "BambooHR but with a better user experience and interface."
